It is very easy to float the bulb lamp

Place the lamp base on a flat surface.

Connect the cable to DC input of the base, plug the adapter to your outlet (100-240VAC).

Hold the light bulb about 3 inches below the hanger and move it up slowly. You will feel the magnet locking the bulb up once it's close enough.

Once you feel a power (magnetism) locking the ball, release your hand gently.

Touch the on/off control button on the base to turn the Lamp ON and OFF.
